Atten.TV feeds your inner voyeur
Nonetheless, Seth Goldstein says his new venture, Atten.TV, is designed to tap into the same voyeuristic tendencies as Justin.TV.
Basically, Atten.TV is a client that allows you to watch what other users are clicking on TV-style. If they're reading a web page, you'll see the same page. If they're watching an online video, you'll see the same video. If you're not shy, you can also opt-in to the program and allow other users to look over your shoulder. You can either watch live or watch recorded clickstreams.
Right now, Atten.TV is in alpha, with only a Mac client available, and no Atten.TVGuide. Eventually you'll be able peruse a list of active users and select a "channel" to watch. We're just not sure why you'd want to.

I want to make a mutual fund out of companies and technologies that people initially say are privacy invasive -- they all seem to explode because the masses seem to have given up on such quaint ideas as privacy (blogs --> Google --> MySpace --> Twitter).

Thanks,
